1. Student of the Year Award

This is an annual award presented to the student(s) who embodied leadership, commitment, and contributed to the betterment of the U of L students; this may have been exemplified by involvement in clubs, non-profit &/or student organizations, community, and volunteerism.

2. Bill Chapman Students' Union Certificate of Distinction

This is an annual award presented to the University of Lethbridge student who has had a substantial innovative initiative benefiting students in the past academic year.

3. Outstanding Dedication Award

This annual award will be presented to a University of Lethbridge faculty or employee with the most outstanding dedication to the students of the University of Lethbridge over the past academic year.

4. ULSU Student Employee of the Year

This is an annual award presented to the Students' Union student employee who has demonstrated the most outstanding contribution and ethics to our organization over the past year. This individual personifies the values of the University of Lethbridge Students' Union in all his/her endeavors and is enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Lethbridge.

5. Students' Union Levy Group of the Year

This annual award will be presented to the Students’ Union levy group who has demonstrated outstanding services that champion social and cultural programs while supporting the student experience at the University of Lethbridge.

6. Students' Union Building (SUB) Spirit Award

This is an annual award presented to an individual, vendors, or university department located within the Students’ Union Building. The winner of this award has embodied the spirit of the Students’ Union Building by going above and beyond to make it a welcoming place for everyone through their positive presence, services, or community interactions.

7. The Students’ Union Volunteer Award

This is an annual award presented to the most dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer, specifically for Students’ Union events and initiatives. This individual is enrolled as a full-time student at the University of

8. Club of the Year Award

This annual award will be presented to the Students’ Union ratified club that has demonstrated the most outstanding effort and dedication in its endeavors over the past year. This club should have held numerous successful initiatives and should be in excellent standing with Clubs Council.

9. Outstanding New Club

This annual award will be presented to the Students' Union ratified club that has demonstrated the most outstanding, creative and new endeavors over the past year. This club should be a newly ratified club for the current academic year and have held numerous successful events/activities or initiatives and should be in excellent standing with Clubs Council.

10. Alumni Association Cultivating Campus Culture Award

This annual award will be presented to the Students’ Union ratified club that has demonstrated the most campus pride and involvement across campus. This club visibly celebrates our campus, and promotes a spirit of wellness, community and a place where students can use their strengths and talents. This includes engaging in cross programming and collaborative efforts outside the Students’ Union, including faculties, with Student Service departments, or with other clubs.

11. Advocacy Award

This annual award will be presented to the Students’ Union ratified club that has provided opportunities for students to take up an important issue or cause, which aims to make a difference in the lives of students at the University of Lethbridge. Whether or not they were successful in their advocacy, this club relentlessly pursued their goal of offering opportunities for students to affect lasting positive change in our community and beyond.

12. Volunteer Lethbridge Community Service Award

Many clubs exist explicitly to provide community services. Giving back to the wider community is woven into the fiber of the club’s mandate and existence. The winner of this award has demonstrated outstanding commitment to this mandate, participating in or planning events that benefit the community as a whole. Through fundraising, volunteering, and awareness campaigns, this club has directly improved the quality of life within their community and enhanced student life in the process.

13. The Students' Union Greek Organization of the Year

This annual award will be presented to the Students’ Union ratified Greek organization who has exhibited the most community and campus involvement and support. The nomination for this award must come from a third-party, accompanied with a formal letter of recommendation.
