Canadian Emergency Response Benefit (CERB)
Apply HERE

The Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) gives financial support to employed and self-employed Canadians who are directly affected by COVID-19. If you are eligible, you can receive $2,000 for a 4-week period (the same as $500 a week). If your situation continues past 4 weeks, you will need to apply for the CERB again. You may re-apply for up to a total of 24 weeks.

Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB)
Apply HERE

The Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) provides financial support to post-secondary students, and recent post-secondary and high school graduates who are unable to find work due to COVID-19. This benefit is for students who do not qualify for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) or Employment Insurance (EI).

Canadian Student Service Grant (CSSG)
The Canada Student Service Grant (CSSG) will support post-secondary students and recent graduates across Canada through grant-based contributions for qualifying volunteer work.

Any student who volunteers to help their community will be eligible for a one-time grant payment of between $1,000 and $5,000, depending how many hours they work. $1,000 will be provided for each 100 hours completed, up to a maximum of $5,000 for 500 hours. Volunteer opportunities can be found on the ‘I Want To Help’ portal online.
Visit HERE.

Applicants can count hours accrued between June 25 and October 31. Applicants must register no later than November 6, 2020.

Note: Applicants are ineligible for the Canada Student Service Grant if they are receiving, or have received at any time, the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB).

Canada Service Corps

The CSC provides young Canadians with micro-grant funding to lead their own service project to benefit and serve their communities.

Applicants can apply to receive micro-grants in the amounts of $250, $750, and $1500, depending on the scope and scale of the project. Those participating in CSC placements, including the micro-grant initiative, can also count their hours towards Canada Student Service Grant.
